Kuwa is a workout log. The short version: your workouts live on your phone, you can choose to back them up to your own account, and nobody else gets them. There are no ads, no trackers, and no analytics in the app.

What Kuwa stores

Where it is stored

Everything is saved in a local database on your device first. The app works fully offline.

If you sign in, a copy of your data is backed up to a private database hosted by Supabase so you can restore it on a new phone. Access is restricted at the database level so that only your account can read or write your rows.

What Kuwa does not do

Sign in is optional and only needed for backup. Kuwa uses Sign in with Google and Sign in with Apple through Supabase Auth. Kuwa never sees or stores your password.

Importing from other apps

If you import a CSV export from another app, the file is read on your device and the workouts it contains are added to your local log. The file itself is not uploaded anywhere.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account from Settings inside the app. This removes your backup from our servers and wipes the local database on your phone. Deleting the app without signing in also removes all local data.

Feedback

The feedback link in the app opens a Google Form. Google collects the email of the account you submit with, and any screenshots you attach are stored in the developer's Google Drive. Use it only if you are comfortable with that.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
